I've voted in the past thirteen presidential elections and never have I heard such wailing, teeth gnashing, hate spewing reactions come from the loosing party. To hear Democrats rant since November 8 you'd think the Republicans had summoned God on election night and He proclaimed the end of the world.  The world is not coming to an end. There's going to be another election in four years and those folks on the left could be the winners next time around if they heed the following advice.

Since the election the Democrat elite has indulged in the same old nonsense that pissed off Middle America and got Mr. Trump elected.  They tried to play the "sexist" card to explain Hillary's defeat, posited a preposterous "whitewash" of racists, tarred the careerist James Comey as a Republican mole, whined about the Electoral College while trying to suborn electors, conjured up sinister Klansmen and alt-right storm-troopers, insulted 49 million Americans as haters, and prophesied an imminent fascist coup engineered by Trump's goose-stepping Goebbels, Steve Bannon.  Continuing down this road will keep Middle America on the right side of the aisle and virtually guarantee  victory for Donald Trump in 2020.  And, the progressive elites won't win many elections by demonizing nearly half of voters as ignorant, racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic, and cisgendered "irredeemable deplorables".

My suggestion to the left side of the American electorate...stop badmouthing the right side of the American electorate and President-elect Trump.  You could also hope Mr. Trump does not follow through on his campaign promises.  Then you might have a chance at victory in 2020.

By the way, there is a scenario whereby Trump would be unbeatable four years from now no matter what Democrats do or don't do.

Donald John Trump could become a truly great president.

Richard Spencer is a white supremacist promoter.  He's an idiot.

Shaun King is a writer for the New York Daily News.  In a recent article he tried to make a connection between Mr. Spencer and President-elect Trump's senior strategist Steven Bannon.

Shaun King is a dangerous idiot...
